Wings is a MACH2!

On Saturday, May 12, 2012, Wings and Linda completed their MACH2 title at North Olmsted (Ohio). Going into the weekend, she needed 36 points and double Q’d on Friday. On her first run Saturday morning she only needed 12 points and she earned 17 points on a very tricky and tightly wheeled course. Wings flew around the ring and ran the 61 SCT in only 43:87 seconds.

And then they celebrated!

On their celebration MACH run around the ring, Wings thought the judge might wish to give her a congratulatory hug - twice - but Linda got her to stop on the third one. After putting her leash on and leaving the ring she jumped on anyone who would let her. An ice cream celebration followed!

Wings Completes her UDX9!

On Sunday April 29, 2012, Wings completed her UDX9 title with a 198.5 out of the Open B class and a High in Trial award under judge, Pat Krause.

Wings is an Obedience Grand Master!

This is the 40th title that Wings has earned! She is also currently working on her MACH2, which Linda hopes to finish after the National Obedience Invitational.

Wings is a Master Agility Champion!

Wings just started trialing in agility in January, got her NA in February and finished her MACH in December!! She earned 11 titles in 2010!

Februrary 20, 2010 - NA with one 1st and two 2nd placements
March 19, 2010 - NAJ with a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd
March 21, 2010 - OA with two 1sts and a 3rd place
April 9, 2010 - OAJ title
April 11, 2010 - AX title
May 1 and 2, 2010 - AXJ title; 2 MX legs, 1 MXJ leg and 41 MACH points!
June 5, 2010 -- Wings finished her MXJ title (10 legs) in just 11 trials!
December 17, 2010 -- Wings finished her MACH!

2009 Was a Great Year for Wings!

Wings completed both her UDX4 and OM5 in December 2009!!
Wings was invited in the first round to compete at the AKC National Obedience Invitational in December 2009!!
13 AKC High in Trial awards and 5 UKC High in Trial Awards
6 High Combined Awards and 167 OTCH points!

OTCH and UDX

Linda MacDonald and Wings, completed their AKC OTCH title on 4-14-09 at the Fulton Co. KC trial held in Toledo. She needed 13 points and a first place in either class going into the weekend. She did it with style by winning Open-B with a score of 197.5 ++ after winning a 3 way run-off for first place under judge Dan Herald and also captured the HIGH IN TRIAL Award. She finished in 9 weekends of shows. She now has 8 legs on her UDX2 title with 10 double Q’s in a row.

Wings earned her UDX title on Sunday, December 12/14, 2008 at Western Reserve KC. She also won the High Combined Award on Sunday and a second place in Utility B for 7 points.

GRCA Obedience Hall of Fame!

On October 12, 2008, Wings was entered into the Golden Retriever Club of America Hall of Fame after earning her UD title and having 7 High in Trials. (Only 5 HITs are required for this honor, but Wings always exceeds expectations!)
