Hemi is Bridget's Norwich Terrier and her first dog that is not a Golden Retriever. Bridget wanted to train a small dog who would be able to travel inside the cabin of a plane with her. This will allow her to take a demo-dog to give seminars regardless of the distance or weather.

Hemi won the Terrier Group at the AKC National Obedience Invitational on December 13/14, 2008 in Long Beach, CA!!
He also made it into the Final 16 on Sunday.
This was his first trip to the AKC Invitational and he was the youngest dog competing.

Hemi's History Making Weekend!!
On November 8th at the Car Dun Al Dog Training Club trial, Hemi finished his UDX. He got a 4th place in Utility B with a 196.5 and a 4th place in Open B with a 198. He was tied for High Combined but lost the run off to Soupy's son Tommy.
On November 9th at the Fox Valley Dog Training Club trial, he won Utility B with a 198 to finish his OTCH and got a 197.5 in Open B to be tied for High Combined and then won the run off.
In one weekend he earned 37 OTCH points, his UDX, his OTCH and a High Combined Award. These trials were both in the Chicago area with strong competition.

Hemi Celebrates his Birthday in Style!
Hemi celebrated his 3rd birthday by winning both High in Trial and High Combined at Marion, Ohio on July 27, 2008.
He won Open B with a 198.5 and Utility B with a 197.
Hemi UD!!
Hemi got his UD in three straight shows, completing his title on November 4, 2007. His scores were a 194.5 , 195.5, and 196.0. Bridget and Hemi are working to try to improve his scores, because he really wants to beat the goldens!
Hemi Takes on the Open Ring:
Hemi completed his CDX with an average score of a 197. He won Open B at a Terrier Specialty and took High in Trial with a score of 197.5.
Hemi's Novice Career
Hemi began his Novice career in January 2007. He completed his U-CD on January 14th after only 9 months of training! His scores were 196.5, 197.5 and 197.5, and he received a 2nd and 3rd place. In February and March 2007, he moved on to AKC Novice where he showed a total of 9 times with an average score of 198.
Novice Highlights:
Received a placement every time he went in the ring
Received a 199 and High in Trial at the Louisville KY Cluster (Mar. 15, 2007)
Received another 199 which was a 2nd place
In total, received one first place, six 2nd places, one 3rd place and one 4th place
